Arras Minerals controls a significant license package totaling more than 3,300 sq km in north-eastern Kazakhstan, approximately 70 km southwest of the city of Pavlodar (population ~330,000) and approximately 300 km northeast from the capital of Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.

Our projects are all located within the “Central Asian Orogenic Belt,” which is the most extensive and long-lived accretionary orogen and is one of the most richly mineralized regions, containing many volcanogenic massive sulphide deposits, sedimentary-hosted copper deposits, epithermal and orogenic gold deposits, as well as porphyry copper-gold/molybdenum deposits.

This belt hosts several world-class deposits including Muruntau in Uzbekistan, the largest known orogenic gold deposit in the world, and the behemothian Oyu Tolgoi porphyry Cu-Au deposit in Mongolia.
